EGG drinking glass - set of 2

A miracle that fits in the palm of your hand, the egg embodies a delicate balance of opposing forces. Consider its shape – on one side, it appears flawless, with nothing to add or take away. But at the same time, it is only the foundational formation of other beginnings – the beginnings of life. This makes the egg both completed entity and ongoing process. Its external form is solid and firm, but beneath the surface, everything is in flux and a constant state of becoming. The EGG series of drinking glasses draws inspiration from this interplay of solidification and fluidity inherent in the egg. The glasses all share the same shape, yet blown into the surface of each is a unique bubble reminiscent of the yolk of the egg.
